Bellwork Week 2

Grade 8


  • Monday: I can write 3 words about myself and draw 3 symbols about myself. 
  • Tuesday: Draw a comic strip about the emergency drills OR write a list of 10 objects for barricade.
  • Wednesday: No Bellwork
  • Thursday: You will be provided a rubric.  Grade your folder according to the rubric.  Then write two things you still need to do to raise your grade.
  • Friday: For bellwork today, I can draw myself in the rain.
  • Then I can complete the two end of week questions, and turn it in.



Grade 6


  • Monday: Try to center your name perfectly in the box so all letters are the same size and evenly spaced.  Then turn them into bubble letters. 
  • Tuesday: Draw a comic strip about the emergency drills OR write a list of 10 objects for barricade.

Bellwork Week 8


Grade 6
Monday 3/2 - I can WRITE one thing that I know about Native Americans. Then I can DRAW one kind of art that they make.


Grade 8

Monday 3/2 - For bellwork, I can define these three words and use them in a sentence OR draw an example of them. (3 Definitions, 3 Examples)
  • Overlap – when one shape or object covers another. 
  • Sticker – an label or notice, generally printed or illustrated, that is glued to a surface 
  • Stencil – a thin sheet of sturdy material with a pattern or letters cut out of it, used to re-produce the cut design on another surface by painting through the holes.

Tuesday 2/3 - Explain in writing or show by drawing the difference between a blind contour and a continuous contour line drawing.

Wednesday 2/4 - Draw your hand using gesture or contour line.

Thursday 2/5 - Choose one of the options below.

Friday 2/6 - For Bellwork, I can give myself an in-progress grade on the project using our rubric.  I can write what I still need to do to get an A.

Grade 6 - Bellwork

Tuesday 1/13 - Draw your name in bubble letters, filling the whole box.  Try not to squish your letters.

Wednesday 1/14 - Use the measuring technique you learned in class to fit your name perfectly centered within the box.


Grade 8 - Bellwork

Tuesday 1/13 - Write the classroom rules.  (See below)

Wednesday 1/14 - Write 3 words about you and draw 3 symbols about you.
